Brasil y España se enfrentarán en la final de los Juegos Olímpicos Tokio 2020, al dejar en el camino a México y Japón, respectivamente, este martes.

Los amazónicos derrotaron en penales 4-1 a los aztecas (0-0), con el arquero Santos deteniendo un penal. Reinier marcó el tanto definitivo.

Marco Asensio anotó el gol del triunfo español sobre Japón

Mientras, la Roja batió 1-0 a Japón en tiempo extra, con gol de Marco Asensio al minuto 115.

La alegría brasileña

La decisión del pase quedó en los penales. Dani Alves, Gabriel Martinelli, Bruno Guimaraes y Reinier acertaron los suyos. En el lado mexicano, Santos detuvo el tiro de Eduardo Aguirre, mientras que Johan Vásquez falló su remate. Carlos Rodríguez metió el tercero de la tanda.

Es la tercera final consecutiva de Brasil en Juegos Olímpicos, tras perder ante México la de 2012 y ganar frente a Alemania en 2016.

España y una victoria de fe que lo lleva a la final de Tokio 2020

España sufrió para vencer a una ultradefensiva Japón en Saitama. Luego de 115 minutos con el arco en cero, Marco Asensio aprovechó un pase de Mikel Oyarzábal, aguantó con la derecha y remató de zurda y cruzado para el tanto de la victoria.

Los españoles suman su segunda final en el siglo XX, luego de caer en la de Sydney 2000 ante Camerún.

Tanto la Canarinha como la Roja clasificaron a cuartos de final como primeros de sus grupos. En la segunda ronda eliminaron a Egipto 1-0 y a Costa de Marfil 5-2 (en tiempo extra), respectivamente.
