Por años hombres y mujeres de orígenes humildes, hermanos nuestros han sido nuestra fuente de vida, lo digo así por el motivo que estos “tontos ignorantes”, han sido los culpables de que a diario tengamos en nuestras cocinas frutas y verduras con las cuales alimentamos a nuestras familias.
Tal vez te parezca ofensivo cuando me referí a ellos con esta expresión, pero porque cuando te los encuentras por la calle vendiendo sus frutos que han sido cultivados con grandes sacrificios, no piensas como hace unos segundos pensaste, me refiero al hecho de reaccionar y recapacitar sobre el valor tan importante que tiene estas personas para nuestra sociedad y que en verdad no son unos tontos.
Me he tomado la tarea de investigar cómo estas personas tratan de sobrevivir en condiciones tan precarias, afectados no solo por la pobreza, sino también por los fenómenos naturales que afectan sus cultivos y sobre todo la discriminación por el resto de la sociedad que los margina y equivocadamente piensan que no son importantes.
Has pensado que pasaría si ellos no existieran en nuestra sociedad tendríamos que cultivar o comprar productos que provengan de otros países a precios sumamente elevados lo cual afectaría la economía de nuestro país.
Es hora que empecemos a valorar el trabajo que ellos realizan, no menospreciemos su grandiosa labor, han pasado años sin que se haga un aumento al salario a este sector, se aumenta a otros sectores y a funcionarios públicos, pero ellos quedan en el olvido, convirtámonos de hoy en delante la voz de los que no tienen voz.
Es posible ellos no tuvieron la mismas oportunidades que han tenido muchos, pero es tiempo de hacer ver lo importantes he indispensables que son para la economía salvadoreña.Y sobre todo hacer el llamado a las instituciones correspondientes tomen cartas en el asunto.
