Una caricatura de años anteriores habló sobre el triunfo de Nayib Bukele

Recuerdas la caricatura que señalaba el posible desenlace a los partidos contrarios, esta resulto ser premonitoria para el día de hoy.

Se publicó a inicios de octubre de 2017 en las páginas de El Diario de Hoy, uno de los periódicos de referencia en el pequeño país centroamericano.

En ese tiempo el partido Frente Farabundo Martí de Liberación Nacional FMLN buscaba aún la derrota de Nayib Bukele, que era Alcalde de San Salvador, hoy por hoy es Presidente de la República.

Y la caricatura muestra a tres dirigentes históricos del FMLN serruchando felices la rama del árbol en la que están sentados para separarse de Bukele, sin percatarse de que los que van a caer al vacío son ellos.

“Cuando se publicó, recuerdo que algunos compañeros del periódico me comentaron que sería al revés, que si lo expulsaban del partido, ahí terminaría la carrera política de Nayib”, dice a RT el autor, Ricardo Clement, conocido con el nombre profesional de Alecus, uno de los caricaturistas más ilustres de El Salvador.

Sin embargo Nayib fue expulsado del FMLN la noche del 10 de octubre de 2017, una semana después de que se publicara aquella caricatura.

Más el 3 de febrero de 2019, Bukele ganó en primera vuelta las presidenciales, relegando al candidato efemelenista al tercer lugar.

Todo señalaba que Bukele obtendría la victoria ya que el el 28 de febrero de 2021, el partido creado ad hoc por Bukele, Nuevas Ideas, arrasó en las legislativas y municipales, mientras que el FMLN ha pasado de ser una pieza clave en el tablero político a una fuerza residual, con menos del 7% de los votos.

“La Comisión Política del FMLN quería dar una lección a Nayib, y pasó todo lo contrario, que el partido ha sufrido las consecuencias”, dice Alecus.
