La Primera Dama Gabriela de Bukele envió un importante mensaje sobre la lactancia desde la ONU

Este lunes, la Primera Dama de la República, Gabriela de Bukele, destacó un importante mensaje para el mundo sobre la importancia de fomentar, proteger y apoyar la lactancia materna, de políticas y leyes en favor de la Primera Infancia. Se inauguraron 9 salas de lactancia en la Organización de las Naciones Unidas (ONU).

“En El Salvador estamos seguros de que el mejor comienzo para la vida de todo ser humano es la lactancia materna porque es una receta mágica, única, perfecta y personalizada que se va adecuando según las necesidades de cada bebé”, mantuvo la Primera Dama en su mensaje.

El Presidente de la Asamblea General de la ONU, Abdullah Shahid, le dio la bienvenida a la Primera Dama Gabriela de Bukele, además, demostró el trabajo que el país está realizando por la Primera Infancia y la lactancia materna.

“Siempre he pensado que la lactancia es amor convertido en alimento porque crea un vínculo emocional, sólido y fuerte entre la mamá, su bebé y sus familias”, dijo la Gabriela de Bukele.

También señaló que, la iniciativa está en busca de ser inspiración para que las salas de lactancia se multipliquen en instituciones públicas y privadas a nivel mundial y, por supuesto, continuar su implementación en El Salvador.

“Por primera vez nuestro sistema de salud cuenta con especialistas para apoyar y promover la lactancia materna: asesores, educadores prenatales y promotores de salud materno-infantil que acompañan en todo el proceso de embarazo”, expresó la Primera Dama.
