A sus 25 años, Demi Lovato ha recorrido un largo camino hasta dejar atrás los peores momentos de su adolescencia, en los que los desórdenes alimenticios y las adicciones estuvieron a punto de costarle la vida.

 

En la actualidad, la cantante apuesta por una dieta sana y una intensa actividad física para sentirse lo más sana posible, lo cual no quita que ella también sea humana y tenga algunas cositas de su cuerpo que ha aprendido a aceptar.

“Estrías y un poco de grasa de más… y aun así todavía me quiero a mí misma”, escribió la artista como título de un boomerang que publicó en instagam, en el que se le ve pellizcando un casi inapreciable “gordito” en su barriga. “Celulitis, y aun así todavía me quiero a mí misma”, añadió junto a otro en el que aparece posando de espaldas al espejo en ropa interior y meneando el trasero.

 

“Ni rastro de ‘thigh gap’ en mi casi, y aun así todavía me quiero”, mencionó junto a otra selfie en la que posaba mostrando orgullosa cómo la cara interna de sus muslos se toca cuando junta las piernas, en contra de la absurda moda que en los últimos tiempos dicta que lo atractivo es justo lo contrario.

 

La intención de la artista al publicar estas instantáneas es no contribuir a la presión que las redes sociales ponen sobre sus usuarios más jóvenes, al fomentar unos cánones de belleza imposibles a base de filtros y photoshop.

 

“El boomerang me ha alisado las piernas, pero la cuestión es que yo también tengo celulitis, como el 93 por ciento del resto de las mujeres”, ha explicado a todos sus seguidores para animarles a no compararse con los influencers u otros profesionales de la esfera virtual. “Lo que ves en Instagram no siempre es lo que parece. Aceptemos nuestro verdadero yo”, ha concluido la estrella, que por otra parte disfruta compartiendo selfies en posturas imposibles.
