“El apoyo al sector cafetalero forma parte del Plan de Rescate Agropecuario” dice David Martínez

"Estamos bien posicionados en los mercados internacionales, y nosotros tenemos el café salvadoreño de manera accesible".

En Entrevista AM conducido por Marisol Doratt estuvo en el set de la el Ministro de Agricultura David Martínez llegó para hablar sobre la marca país Café de El Salvador y otros temas de relevancia.


El Ministro de agricultura, detalla que el café salvadoreño participó en una subasta electrónica. “Tenemos cafés diferenciados y posicionados internacionalmente”.

“Los agricultores deben ser apoyados financieramente, ya que muchos no pueden tener acceso a los créditos necesarios para incrementar su producción”, dijo Ministro de Agricultura.


Asimismo el titular de agricultura, explica que el apoyo al sector cafetalero forma parte del Plan de Rescate Agropecuario. A través de esta estrategia, se han implementado medidas para su reactivación, entregando plantines de café a los productores, agrega.

También en la Entrevista matutina manifiesta que algunas personas poseen tierras fértiles para la siembra de café, sin embargo, no cuentan con el apoyo para explotar dichos recursos.

“La población debe consumir los productos nacionales que fuera de las fronteras, podrían tener un precio mucho más alto” dijo David Martínez.

Martinez señaló “Estamos bien posicionados en los mercados internacionales, y nosotros tenemos el café salvadoreño de manera accesible”.

El Ministro aclara que la marca país Café de El Salvador es un distintivo que puede ser utilizado por los productores, cuyo grano cumpla con la excelencia requerida.

El titular señala que El Salvador no es un país enfocado en producir una gran cantidad de café, sino, en tener un grano de alta calidad que continúe siendo de los mejores a escala internacional, para seguir exportándolo a un precio beneficioso.

“La próxima semana iniciaremos con las reuniones, para comenzar a dar financiamiento a los productores que deseen participar en el Plan de Rescate Agropecuario”, Destacó Martinez.

El Ministro informa que el Plan Maestro de Rescate Agropecuario ayudará a dar apoyo a los caficultores y productores que no tienen acceso a financiamiento para impulsar los cultivos.
