Gustavo de Jesús Valenzuela, futbolista mexicano de 22 años, con trayectoria en liga de ascenso del fútbol azteca con Alacranes Rojos, club originario de Michoacán, llegó a El Salvador motivado por aportar fútbol a un equipo fuera de su país, pero se vio envuelto en problemáticas extra cancha que modificaron su rumbo y expectativas con las que llegaba a Sonsonate FC que lo convirtieron en la primera baja del equipo cocotero en la presente temporada.
En un paso fugaz por el equipo Sonsonateco, donde no tuvo la oportunidad de demostrar sus cualidades futbolísticas fue dado de baja por la junta directiva y cuerpo técnico, quienes expresaron que el mexicano se iba cedido en condición de préstamo a un equipo de la segunda división. CD Atlético Marte fue el equipo que le ha brindado la oportunidad al zaguero de demostrar lo que puede aportar, y en factores económicos Sonsonate FC sería el encargado de seguir aportando el sueldo al jugador.
“Sonsonate no me ha pagado, me deben un mes y me han dejado sin comer”Expresó el futbolista mexicano sobre su situación actual con el equipo cocotero, haciendo ver el mal momento económico que afronta. ” Desde el 28 de Septiembre no me ha pagado Sonsonate, ya es casi el otro mes y solo me dan largas.” El equipo Sonsonateco tampoco vive una buena situación económica a lo que Valenzuela respondió: ” Están mal pero yo no tengo la culpa de eso. Porque yo no estoy jugando allá, entonces a los demás ya les pagaron y a mi no… No se si solo me estén dando largas o que, pero no se que pase”
El caso de Gustavo Valenzuela no será el primero ni el último, se conoce sobre futbolistas extranjeros que prueban suerte en el país y muchas veces terminan con una grave crisis económica, pero el mexicano se mantiene optimista y concentrado en el torneo de la segunda división con CD Atlético Marte, a lo que él concluyó: “Lo único que quiero es estar en un club que valore mi trabajo”
