Presidenta Priscilla de Miró se reunió con Presidente Juan Carlos Varela para presentar propuesta de Reformas al Tratado Constitutivo

La Presidenta del Parlamento Centroamericano, Honorable Diputada Priscilla de Miró, fue recibida en Audiencia Especial por el Excelentísimo Señor Presidente de la República de Panamá, Juan Carlos Varela, quien a la vez es el Presidente Pro Tempore del Sistema de la Integración Centroamericana, SICA, el 17 de octubre en curso, con el fin de presentar las propuestas de Reforma al Tratado Constitutivo derivada de las conclusiones y recomendaciones del Foro Regional “Órganos Comunitarios y Otras Expresiones Fortaleciendo la Integración”, realizado en agosto en la Ciudad de Guatemala.

 

La Delegación del Parlamento Centroamericano, estuvo integrada por los Honorables Diputados: Vicepresidentes Jaime Martínez, Orlando Tardencilla, Mirtala López y Santiago Rodríguez y por los Secretarios de Junta Directiva Gilberto Succari y Engels Pineda.

 

La Honorable Presidenta Priscilla de Miró, agradeció la audiencia recibida, así como el apoyo y las atenciones brindadas por el Ilustrado Gobierno de Panamá para la realización de la Sesión de octubre del PARLACEN, la cual comprende el traspaso de la Presidencia del PARLACEN del Estado de Panamá al Estado de República Dominicana.

 

De particular importancia en la reunión fue compartir los resultados sobre el tema de la Reforma al Tratado Constitutivo del PARLACEN y Facultades Vinculantes; así como las conclusiones y recomendaciones en los Paneles sobre: Migración, Tratado de Integración Social y Turismo, realizado durante el Foro Regional de Órganos Comunitarios.

 

La Presidenta Priscilla de Miró, solicitó la abogacía del Presidente Juan Carlos Varela, para que esta Propuesta de Reforma al Tratado Constitutivo del PARLACEN pueda ser atendida por la Reunión de Jefes de Estado y de Gobierno de tal manera que instruyan al Consejo de Ministros de Relaciones Exteriores para los efectos correspondientes.
