El Grupo Parlamentario de la Gran Alianza por la Unidad, GANA, representado por los Diputados Guadalupe Antonio Vásquez, Mario Tenorio, Francis Zablah y Juan Pablo Herrera, aseguraron que el Gobierno no tendrá nuestros votos, si los fondos provenientes del impuesto a la telefonía no son destinados a la Seguridad.
Los agentes de la PNC y el Ejército deben tener más apoyo porque son los que están al frente del combate de la inseguridad, por tanto deben otorgárseles los recursos necesarios a estas instituciones así como a la Fiscalía, de acuerdo con la propuesta del Partido Naranja.
“Que todo impuesto para la Seguridad vaya destinado única y exclusivamente al área de seguridad, no educación, no salud, ni prevención”, sostuvo el presidente de la Asamblea Legislativa y miembros de GANA, Guillermo Gallegos.
También, piden retomar el tema de asignar a un arma a los militares para que cuando gocen de licencia puedan defenderse en caso de ataque por parte de antisociales, reiterando que los elementos de la PNC y del Ejército no tiene muchas veces ni con que defenderse, mientras los criminales bien armados.
Por otra parte, GANA pidió al FMLN y ARENA que den sus votos para que se autorice que las comunidades tengan mecanismos de autodefensas comunales.
“Debemos decirle a la gente que tiene derecho a defenderse, tenemos que decirle al policía y soldado que cuando cuando se defiendan (en caso de legítima defensa)”, enfatizó.
“Vale la pena que hagamos un esfuerzo y que ARENA y FMLN dejen de ver esto (tema seguridad) partidariamente”, instó Gallegos.
“La situación de inseguridad en el país es alarmante; está muriendo gente inocente, gente trabajadora, gente que no tiene nada que ver con las pandillas están siendo víctima de estos criminales, por tanto, tenemos que garantizarle a la ciudadanía su seguridad, en un primer plano lo hace la policía y el Ejército, pero también tenemos que decirle a la gente que tiene derecho a auto defenderse”, acotó el dirigente de GANA.
