Santa Ana desplegó su poder en casa

La novena de Santa Ana logró su primera victoria en el naciente torneo de la categoría Juvenil A (13-14 años) al imponerse en casa a Zacamil con marcador de 16 carreras por 6, en la segunda jornada del campeonato nacional organizado por la Federación Salvadoreña de Béisbol.

En el diamante del Complejo Indes de Santa Ana, antigua Finca Modelo, los Tigres occidentales desplegaron una ofensiva de 11 imparables para respaldar el pitcheo combinado de Daniel Moreno y Francisco Ramírez, este último quien se llevó la victoria desde la lomita.

El equipo dirigido por Carlos Martínez inició el encuentro con tres carreras en contra fabricadas por los chicos de Mejicanos, pero dos certeros rallys entre el tercero y cuarto inning voltearon el marcador y le dieron la victoria a los locales en un encuentro reducido a cinco entradas por la diferencia de anotaciones.

Los más destacados con el bate por Santa Ana fueron Eduardo Guerra, de 4-3, con par de dobles y dos carreras impulsadas, mientras que Kevin Pacheco ligó tres sencillos en cuatro visitas al plato, con tres rayitas fletadas.

Camilo Navidad cargó con el revés. Los otros dos encuentros de la segunda jornada no pudieron disputarse por la lluvia. El Bengoa vs Agabeisi en El Cafetalón y el juego entre La Unión y Soyapango en el Mini Estadio Zacamil fueron suspendidos y próximamente serán reprogramados.

La tercera jornada del torneo Juvenil A se disputará el próximo sábado 17 de septiembre con los enfrentamientos entre Soyapango vs Zacamil; La Unión vs Bengoa y Agabeisi ante Santa Ana.
