¿Ya homologaste tu DUI y NIT?

La reforma entró en vigencia a finales de 2021 por la Asamblea Legislativa, la fecha límite para dicho proceso es el próximo 30 de junio. “El NIT y el DUI ya se homologaron, no es necesario hacer ningún trámite (excepto extranjeros, menores de edad y personas jurídicas). Para cualquier trámite las personas naturales solo deben presentar su DUI”, dijo el Ministro de Hacienda, Alejandro Zelaya, en su cuenta de twiter.

¿En que consiste?

Se refiere a que la numeración del NIT será la misma que la del DUI para todas aquellas personas naturales mayores de edad, mientras que las personas jurídicas se les seguirá asignando un NIT único y permanente.

A continuación, se detallan los criterios a tomar en cuenta:

Sustitución
El reemplazo del número de NIT será automático y podrá ser consultado en línea en la DGII. Caso contrario, el trámite deberá efectuarse en el sitio web del Ministerio de Hacienda.

Trámites
Las personas cuyo NIT ya fue reemplazado por el DUI podrán utilizarlos indistintamente para el cumplimiento de sus obligaciones hasta el 30 de junio de 2022.   

Plazo
Las personas cuyo trámite de sustitución no se haya realizado de manera automática tienen hasta el 30 de junio de 2022 para realizar dicho proceso.  

Costo
Las personas y entidades que requieran copia de la representación gráfica impresa del NIT pagarán $2 cuando sea por  primera vez y $6 por modificación, reposición o certificación.

Menores
Los menores de edad que tengan asignado un número de NIT,  al cumplir la mayoría de edad y obtener su DUI, el primero les será sustituido, según la guía publicada por el Ministerio de Hacienda.  

Exentas
Las personas naturales están exentas del pago por la emisión, modificación o reposición de la representación gráfica digital del NIT. Si requieren copia impresa deberán pagar.
