Un fondo nuevo cada día en WhatsApp con el nuevo Modo Oscuro

WhatsApp incluye un buen álbum de fotos para usar como fondo de pantalla en todos tus chats. Puedes elegir entre fotografías para un Modo Claro y uno Oscuro.

Hay tantas opciones que es posible elegir un fondo para cada día de la semana y cambiarlo es cuestión de segundos. Además siempre puedes utilizar tus fotos personales como fondo de pantalla, si te cansas de los que ofrece la app.

Todos los fondos están disponibles tengas o no activado el Modo Oscuro, pero hay una función que no encontrarás con el Modo Claro. Por este motivo, te recomendamos que actives un momento el Modo Oscuro mientras sigues este tutorial y después elijas cuál te resulta más agradable.

Debes empezar por activar el Modo Oscuro. Es muy sencillo, puedes cambiar el estilo de claro a oscuro y viceversa desde los ajustes de tu teléfono, en la sección de Pantalla. Activando esa versión oscura, todas las aplicaciones que los permitan cambiarán su diseño, incluida WhatsApp. Aunque, si no te gusta el estilo oscuro en otras aplicaciones puedes activarlo desde la propia aplicación de WhatsApp. También está disponible para iOS si eres propietario de un iPhone.

Vuelve a la app de WhatsApp, en el menú superior de puntos encontrarás la sección de Ajustes. Dentro tienes el apartado de Chats y la opción de Temas. Aquí puedes activar el Modo Oscuro. Después retrocede y abre el apartado de Fondos de pantalla, que es donde vamos a estar configurando todos los fondos de tus conversaciones.

Verás que al usar el Modo Oscuro, la aplicación nos ofrece la oportunidad de reducir el brillo del fondo para intensificar ese Modo Oscuro hasta hacerlo opaco. Esta función no está disponible en el Modo Claro y nos permite reducir el consumo de batería que ejerce la pantalla.

Para cambiar el fondo, clic en el botón “Cambiar” y verás las distintas carpetas con imágenes luminosas, oscuras, colores sólidos o las fotos personales que guardas en el smartphone. Aquí elige libremente la imagen que te parezca más interesante y cómoda, recuerda que es un fondo de pantalla y tiene que facilitar que los mensajes se lean bien.

Al escoger una imagen tienes la opción de vista previa, para ver cómo queda el fondo sin descartar el que ya tengas. Cada día puedes pasar un rato buscando así un nuevo fondo sin perder el que ya tienes.

Como puedes ver en las capturas de pantalla, aunque el diseño de WhatsApp para iOS es ligeramente distinto que la aplicación en móviles Android, pero el proceso es idéntico. Siguiendo estos pasos puedes cambiar el fondo de pantalla y oscurecerlo con facilidad en ambos sistemas operativos.
