Acura relanza el clásico coche Integra, que no estaba disponible desde 2006 (FOTO)

Esta nueva versión del clásico automóvil Acura Integra estará disponible a partir del próximo año y tendrá un costo de unos 30.000 dólares.

La marca de automóviles Acura, perteneciente a la compañía japonesa Honda, reveló una versión prototipo de su modelo deportivo Integra en color amarillo el jueves por la noche en Los Ángeles (EE.UU.).

Este nuevo modelo es un coche compacto deportivo con un diseño de cinco puertas, motor de alto rendimiento de 1,5 litros y caja de cambios manual de seis velocidades. “Este nuevo Integra continuará cumpliendo con la posición única en el mercado, aspiracional pero alcanzable, del original, con desempeño emocional y estilo, combinado con la versatilidad y utilidad que buscan los compradores de hoy”, destacó el vicepresidente y director de marca Acura, Jon Ikeda.

El color amarillo ‘Indy Yellow Pearl’ del prototipo rinde homenaje al Integra Type R ‘Phoenix Yellow’, producido entre 2000 y 2001.

Esta nueva versión del clásico automóvil estará disponible a partir del próximo año y tendrá un costo de alrededor de 30.000 dólares.

Apuesta a la nostalgia

El clásico deportivo Acura Integra, originalmente disponible desde 1986 hasta 2006 en sus versiones sedán y cupé, era considerado como un automóvil relativamente económico y de alto rendimiento. Con el relanzamiento se espera, según Emile Korkor, vicepresidente asistente de ventas de la empresa, que este nuevo modelo atraiga tanto a jóvenes de entre 20 y 30 años como a clientes mayores que crecieron con el modelo original. “Integra no es solo una gran parte de cómo Acura llegó a donde estamos hoy, ahora es una parte clave del futuro de Acura. Y ese futuro comienza ahora mismo”, agregó.
