Fuerza Armada asigna más de 14,000 soldados para seguridad de fin de año

El ministro de la defensa nacional vice almirante René Francis Merino Monroy informó en las últimas horas que se han asignado más de 14,000 soldados para apoyo al Plan “Navidad Segura 2021” con el objetivo que los ciudadanos y visitantes del extranjero puedan disfrutar de las fiestas de navidad y fin de año.

De igual manera la Fuerza Armada de El Salvador se encuentra activada para apoyar planes especiales propios de la época como la corta de café, la temporada de la zafra con los sectores cañeros, y este día dos de diciembre con la inauguración del torneo de clase mundial de surf en la playa de Punta Roca con ALAS Pro Tour la Fuerza Naval tienen un papel primordial de apoyo al evento, seguridad, patrullajes y otras coordinaciones.

Otra de las tareas fundamentales de la FAES en esta época es en los puntos fronterizos no habilitados donde tienen la ardua tarea de evitar el ingresos de todo tipo de ilícitos, mercadería de contra bando y tráfico de personas. Por lo que los 195 puntos de control se encuentran operando las 24 horas los siete días de la semana.

Y sin olvidar las labores y tareas dentro del Plan Control Territorial que se mantienen en sus sectores de responsabilidad. La Fuerza Armada de El Salvador se ubica en el año 2021 como la institución con la mayor y mejor percepción de aprobación y confianza de la población con el 65% de los encuestados sobre los ejércitos de Uruguay, Argentina, Brasil.
