“El virus estará con nosotros, es una enfermedad endémica”, Ministro de Salud Francisco Alabi

La pandemia por COVID 19 pasó a ser considerada endémica, dijo el Ministro de Salud Francisco Alabi en una entrevista radial agregó que según estadísticas, mayo esta catalogado como el mes con menos decesos por COVID 19.

“Nosotros lo que hemos dicho es que la mascarilla ya no es obligatoria, pero las personas siguen usando esta protección. Su uso ha quedado en la mente de los salvadoreños” dijo el funcionario al enfatizar que pese a que la pandemia está  controlada el uso de la mascarilla se ha vuelto indispensable en la población.

El rastreo y monitoreo de casos de covid continúan vigentes “Seguimos con los análisis de la enfermedad. No hemos detenido las acciones, se siguen realizando pruebas PCR en todo el país, se han aplicado hasta el momento más de 2 millones de estas”, gracias a ello El Salvador ha sido reconocido por el buen manejo de la pandemia y “La vacunación ha sido reconocida a escala internacional. Tenemos a la mayoría de la población con más de dos dosis de la vacuna”, señaló Ministro de Salud.
