 Renuncia del abogado complica proceso judicial de concejal Silva

El abogado defensor de Héctor Silva en el caso contra el diputado oficialista Christian Guevara, Luis Miguel Arévalo Cabrera, renunció alegando “faltas graves al debido proceso”. La jueza del caso no aceptó la renuncia y destacó que la única afectación sería para Silva, quien se quedaría sin defensa. A pesar de las opciones presentadas por la jueza para evitar la renuncia, el abogado mantuvo su decisión.

Arévalo argumentó la falta de entrega del acta de la audiencia probatoria como una de las razones para su renuncia. La jueza desestimó sus argumentos y señaló que la audiencia debía llevarse a cabo. Arévalo mencionó la falta de información sobre las pruebas presentadas el 27 de noviembre y la no entrega del acta como motivos para su decisión.

En medio de la audiencia, se permitió la presencia de youtubers, el uso de teléfonos celulares para transmitir en redes sociales y la toma de fotografías y videos por parte de los medios presentes, creando un ambiente inusual. Ante la renuncia, el concejal Silva expresó su intención de buscar una nueva defensa y anunció la presentación de pruebas que respaldan sus declaraciones.

El diputado Guevara calificó la renuncia como una acción dilatoria y cuestionó la falta de pruebas de Silva. Además, criticó el acompañamiento de Andy Failer y Ramiro Navas, de Nuestro Tiempo. Silva denunció amenazas a su seguridad relacionadas con el proceso judicial y anunció que, de no conseguir un abogado antes del 18 de diciembre, se le asignará uno público.
