Puerto El Triunfo y Jiquilisco tiene rebrotes de COVID-19

Usulután reportan un alza de casos en los últimos días. Hay preocupación por foco infeccioso en el mercado municipal de Jiquilisco.

En el departamento de Usulután hay preocupación por rebrotes de contagios del Covid-19: Puerto El Triunfo y Jiquilisco.

El encargado de la Unidad Municipal de Gestión de Riesgo de Puerto El Triunfo, “el 28 de mayo dos personas de este municipio murieron con sospecha de COVID-19 en el Hospital El Salvador, y ambos fueron sepultados con el protocolo sanitario correspondiente esta semana” expresó, Estanislao Villegas.

Ante la situación, el martes 8 de junio tienen programada una reunión con la comisión municipal de protección civil, “para dar lineamientos y propuestas a modo de concientizar a las personas, a que se mantengan con las medidas de seguridad”.

El Gobierno en el sitio web covid19.gob.sv, en Puerto El Triunfo ha habido 92 contagios desde que inició la pandemia de Covid-19; pero Villegas manifestó que esas cifras causan desconfianza.

El empleado municipal señaló que en el segundo trimestre de 2020, cuando el Ministerio de Salud comenzó a enviar las cabinas móviles para hacer pruebas PCR-RT, llegaron a Puerto El Triunfo e “hicieron 100 pruebas; al doctor de la unidad de salud le mandaron el listado de las personas contagiadas, donde había incluso personal de la alcaldía.

Además existían 17 casos confirmados, el doctor tenía los nombres, edades y lugares. Pero en el sistema (del Gobierno) solo aparecían tres casos, y se mantuvo así como dos o tres meses.

El parque de Puerto El Triunfo volvió a recibir las cabinas móviles de pruebas PCR-RT el 12 de febrero de 2021, y en esa ocasión, de las 200 pruebas, el Gobierno les informó de 23 contagios positivos.

“Desde que inició la pandemia, en Puerto El Triunfo hemos enterrado a 25 personas con sospecha de COVID-19”, detalló Villegas, quien añadió que “si sacamos la estadística en el registro del estado familiar, aparecen más de 50 personas con diferentes tipos de enfermedades respiratorias, ya no con protocolo COVID
