Ministro de Seguridad asegura que no hay capturas arbitrarias en Régimen de Excepción

El ministro de Justicia y Seguridad, Gustavo Villatoro, aseguró que “no es cierto” que hayan capturas arbitrarías en el marco del Régimen de Excepción que está por cumplir los cinco meses consecutivos.

El funcionario afirmó que las más de 49,000 capturas; hasta la fecha, han sido dentro del marco de la ley.

“No es cierto (de capturas arbitrarias durante el régimen de excepción)”, dijo el ministro en la entrevista Frente a Frente de Telecorporación Salvadoreña.

“”Vamos a enfocarnos a atacar nuestro enemigo: las pandillas. Vamos a cambiar las normas procesales dentro de la ley del crimen organizado. Nos encargaremos que las 49 mil detenciones y las que faltan, no vuelvan a la sociedad”, recalcó el funcionario.

Villatorio aseguró que impulsarán una serie de reformas legales para que los delincuentes no vuelvan a la cárcel; a la vez, que confirmó la participación activa de la ciudadanía en denunciar a los pandilleros.

“Segunda ola de reformas que vienen. Ya se está ya está a tocar la ley de crimen organizado. Nos vamos a salir un poco de la tangente de lo que el mundo recomienda en crimen organizado. Vamos a acoplar las leyes a la realidad”, concluyó el ministro.
