Juez de Instrucción pide a Fiscalía investigar a Bukele y Merino por negar acceso archivos Caso El Mozote

El juez de Instrucción de San Francisco Gotera, Jorge Guzmán, pedirá a la Fiscalía General, que se investigue al presidente Nayib Bukele y al Ministro de Defensa René Merino Monroy, para investigar si ellos han incurrido en algún delito por haber negado el acceso a los archivos militares relacionados al caso El Mozote.

“Mediante la negativa de acceso a los mismos, se ha incurrido por acción u omisión en el cometimiento de delitos por parte del Presidente de la República y el Ministro de Defensa, quienes supuestamente ordenaron denegar el acceso a las unidades militares”, señala la resolución.

Además, se pide verificar que no haya alguna sustracción o destrucción de documentación relacionada al caso.

Según David Morales, abogado de las víctimas de la masacre, lo que el presidente Bukele entregó al juez de Instrucción Jorge Guzmán recientemente, fueron copias de informes que ya antes habían sido enviados por el gobierno anterior, por lo que no aportan nada.

“En su mayoría se trata de fotocopias de los informes que envió el gobierno anterior, ni siquiera el gobierno actual, por lo tanto no se ha desclasificado nada, no se ha liberado información relacionada al caso que consta en el proceso que sí existe y está en los archivos en el Estado Mayor o de las unidades militares”, aseguró David Morales.
