Jueces condenan la reforma de la Ley de la Carrera Judicial

Los diputados oficialistas reformaron la noche del pasado Martes la Ley de la Carrera Judicial y la Ley Orgánica de la Fiscalía General de la República para que juristas, magistrados y fiscales con más de 60 años deban jubilarse de forma obligatoria e inmediata. Estas acciones ya fueron condenadas por diversos sectores de la sociedad, entre estas, la oposición política, organizaciones de la sociedad civil, abogados y jueces.

Estas reformas se obligarán a magistrados de Cámara, jueces de Primera Instancia y jueces de Paz que sobrepasen los 60 años a su retiro inmediato. El mismo caso pasa con fiscales, quienes sobrepase los 60 años o 30 años ejerciendo el cargo debe ser cesado de su cargo. Sin embargo, con los magistrados de la Corte Suprema de Justicia no pasa lo mismo, ya que según mencionó la iniciativa, estas reformas no les aplicarán a ellos.

Dichas iniciativas que se sacaron “de la manga de la camisa”, según manifestaron, se trata de “hacer una depuración del órgano judicial y FGR”, ya que como lo planteó Jorge Castro, de Nuevas Ideas, han existido jueces que condenan a personas “por robarse una gallina, y dejan en libertad a personajes que han cometido actos de corrupción”.

Ante las reformas, los magistrados de Cámara, jueces de Primera Instancia y de Paz de El Salvador, se pronunciaron y condenaron las acciones hechas por el oficialismo.

“Condenamos la destitución de todos los jueces y magistrados del país mayores de 60 años realizada por la Asamblea Legislativa, acusándolos de corrupción,  sin mostrar ni una prueba y sin el debido proceso legal”, dice el comunicado suscrito por los jueces y magistrados de la república.

“La destitución de todos los jueces y magistrados mayores de 60 años es un irrespeto a la labor judicial, discriminatoria por la condición de su edad, en violación a los derechos humanos y legislación del adulto mayor”, agregan en el comunicado.

Solicitaron a toda la sociedad salvadoreña, a las agrupaciones de la sociedad civil, al cuerpo diplomático acreditado en el país, y a los organismos internacionales de Derechos Humanos a “condenar este despreciable acto realizado por la Asamblea Legislativa y a la derogación del decreto”.
