Funcionarios de Gobierno presentan detalles sobre el proyecto “Tren Del Pacifico”

Funcionarios de Gobierno y representantes del Banco Centroamericano de Integración Económica (BCIE) brindaron una conferencia de prensa en donde dieron detalles sobre el estudio de factibilidad del Tren Del Pacifico.

Durante la conferencia también se hicieron presentes el comisionado Presidencial para Proyectos Estratégicos, Cristian Flores, el presidente de la Comisión Ejecutiva Portuaria Autónoma (CEPA), Federico Anliker López y el director y el gerente del BCIE para El Salvador, Luis Rodriguez y Raúl Castaneda, Respectivamente.

Uno de los puntos a destacar durante la conferencia fue la busqueda de alianzas estratégicas y así poder diseñar oportunidades para el futuro y de esta forma potenciar el país.

El director del BCIE para el Salvador anunció un apoyo para el desarrollo del Tren del Pacífico en El Salvador, la cual trata de una cooperación técnica por 450 mil dólares.

Según el director del BCIE, el banco ya habría planteado una estrategia para conectar a los países centroamericanos por vía férrea y El Salvador fue la primera nación en apuntarse a este proyecto.

“Nos llena de emoción anunciar el lanzamiento del concurso público internacional para la elaboración del estudio de factibilidad del Tren del Pacífico”

El desarrollo de este estudio se plante que se realice bajo un plazo de 12 meses, con lo que se espera que para 2022 se tengan resultados del estudio de factibilidad.
