FGR condenó a 50 años de cárcel a Ronald Urbina por Feminicidio Agravado de Jocelyn Abarca

El imputado debe cancelar la cantidad de US$13,000.00 en concepto de responsabilidad civil, por el Feminicidio Agravado de Jocelyn Milena Abarca Juárez, ocurrido el 05 julio de 2018, en Soyapango a quien desmembró y sus miembros lanzó a una quebrada ubicada en esta capital.

Inicialmente la víctima fue reportada como desaparecida y cinco días después sus miembros fueron encontrados sobre la 17 avenida sur y Calle “Gerardo Barrios”, cerca del Mercado Central. Otros más en la Quebrada El Piro, en el límite entre San Salvador y Antiguo Cuscatlán.

Durante el desarrollo de la investigación se obtuvieron suficientes elementos de prueba que establecieron la participación del imputado en el hecho, por lo que se ordenó su captura el 11 de julio de 2018.

La Fiscalía General de la República (FGR) presentó el requerimiento ante el Juzgado 11º de Paz de San Salvador contra Ronald Atilio Urbina Velásquez, el viernes 13 julio de 2018, en el cual se le acusó de los delitos de Privación de Libertad y Feminicidio Agravado en perjuicio de su pareja.

La audiencia inicial el tribunal decretó instrucción formal con detención contra el imputado, y remitió el proceso al Juzgado Especializado de Instrucción para una Vida Libre de violencia y discriminación para las Mujeres.

El 25 de junio de 2020, el Juzgado Especializado de Instrucción para una Vida Libre de Violencia en contra de las Mujeres envió a juicio a Ronald Atilio Urbina, por el asesinato de su pareja Jocelyn Abarca; luego de que la representación Fiscal expuso ante el Tribunal los argumentos de investigación que establecen la participación del imputado en el hecho por el cual se le está procesando.
