Excandidata a diputada es condenada a 2 años de prisión por la muerte de un agente del CAM

La excandidata a diputada por el partido PDC, Karina Mendizábal, quien protagonizó un accidente en febrero del 2021, fue condenada a dos años de prisión por el Tribunal Segundo de Sentencia de Santa Tecla por el delito de homicidio culposo en perjuicio de Saúl Ramos Vásquez.

El accidente donde falleció el exagente Ramos ocurrió la madrugada del 16 de febrero del año 2021.

La defensa en su reporte presentó que se habría ofrecido una conciliación para no llegar a juicio, ofreciéndole una cantidad de $6,000 a la esposa de la victima, sin embargo, la familia no aceptó.

Fiscalía General de la República (FGR), en su acusación, afirma que al rededor de las 12 de la noche del 15 de febrero, la excandidata a diputada por el PDC, manejaba su vehículo sobre el Boulevard Merliot y en la intercepción con el Boulevard Monseñor Romero, cuando impactó en un accident con un carro patrulla de CAM de Antiguo Cuscatlán.

Debido a la gravedad del accidente, el exagente Ramos Vásquez falleció por el impacto del accidente, a pesar de haber sido trasladado a un hospital.
