Colegios Privados lamentan dificultades generadas por la pandemia de COVID-19

Las instituciones educativas privadas en el país enfrentan serias dificultades y grandes retos como gremio ante la pandemia, dijo este lunes el presidente de la Asociación Nacional de Colegios Privados de El Salvador (ACPES), Javier Hernández.

Hernández insistió que como “educación privada”, no cuentan con recursos como en las instituciones educativas públicas. Explicó que el hecho en que se imparten clases de forma virtual no reducen los gastos en que el colegio privado debe incurrir, como el pago de salarios a los docentes.

Además recalcó la necesidad que los estudiantes tengan material educativo como libros de enseñanza, pese a que estén bajo modalidad virtual. El titular de colegios privados resaltó que un problema que hay en el país es la falta de lectura comprensiva. “Todos debemos leer, leer y leer, si no leemos no entendemos”, expreso durante la entrevista radial matutina Enfoques, de radio La Chévere.

Sin embargo, el presidente de la ACPES agradeció a los padres de familia por apoyar y preferir a las instituciones privadas, a pesar de los altos costos que tienen, por la calidad educativa que imparten a sus hijos.

Inicio de clases virtuales

De acuerdo con Hernández, aproximadamente el 50% de colegios privados iniciarán sus clases virtuales entre el lunes 18 y 25 de enero, bajo las indicaciones que el Ministerio de Educación (MINED) y el Ministerio de Salud (MINSAL), sugirieron tras el alza de casos de covid-19 en el territorio salvadoreño.

“El próximo lunes tendremos entre un 50% y 55 % de estudiantes que inician clases en educación privada, mientras que el 18 y 25 de enero se incorporan los demás estudiantes”, recalcó.

El representante de la gremial, indicó que el año pasado sirvió como una experiencia que ayudará al gremio de colegios privados a enfrentar al 2021 de la mejor manera, ya que permitió adaptarse a circunstancias imprevistas y fortalecer el área digital en los centros educativos
