12 y 15 años de prisión a pareja por asesinar a joven en una cantina

El Tribunal Sexto de Sentencia de San Salvador condenó a Edwin Vladimir Penut Marroquín a 15 años de prisión y a Marta Yanira Alberto Martínez, a 12 años, ambos pareja, tras ser encontrados culpables del asesinato de un joven a la salida de un centro nocturno de San Salvador, el 14 de enero de 2021.

La condena impuesta a los imputados fue la mitad de la que les correspondía, tras someterse a un procedimiento abreviado, confesar y admitir los hechos que Fiscalía les atribuía.

La víctima, identificada como Luis Alberto López Martínez departía con unos amigos cerca de las 2:00 de la madrugada, cuando el imputado Penut Marroquín le exigió que le entregara la gorra, tras alegar que le pertenecía. Para evitar problemas, la víctima optó por entregársela.

Pero el problema no terminó ahí, cuando López Martínez y otras personas que lo acompañaban se retiraron de la taberna conocida como El Ranchón, situada sobre la 1ª. Calle Poniente, e intentaron subirse a un vehículo, el imputado no se los permitió y comenzó a golpearlo.

“La víctima andaba tomada y no se pudo defender, de los golpes que le propinaron cayó al suelo y siguió golpeándolo, de inmediato fue alertada la Policía y al llegar, encuentran a la pareja y a la víctima sangrando en el suelo”, explicó el fiscal.

López Martínez fue llevado al hospital, en estado delicado de salud por múltiples golpes recibido, y horas después murió.

Personas que se encontraban en el lugar señalaron a la pareja como los responsables de los hechos, por lo que fueron capturados por la Policía.

“La participación de la pareja del imputado fue en grado de coautoría, ya que no fue golpear a la víctima, sino, en no permitir que otras personas la defendieran”.

Además el fiscal manifestó que quedó establecido que la pareja de Penut Marroquín, golpeaba a los amigos de la víctima para que no se metieran a defenderla.
