Alerta de Inundaciones Leves en 69 Distritos de El Salvador

El Observatorio de Amenazas e Impactos del Ministerio de Medio Ambiente ha emitido una advertencia de inundaciones urbanas leves para este miércoles por la tarde y noche en al menos 69 distritos de todo el país, debido a las lluvias previstas.

Con una probabilidad media del 30% al 60%, se anticipan inundaciones leves que podrían dificultar el tráfico y el paso peatonal en las áreas afectadas. Además, se prevén posibles derrumbes y caídas de rocas en zonas cercanas a laderas y taludes.

Los distritos que podrían resultar afectados se encuentran en diversas regiones del país, incluyendo la zona occidental, central, el área metropolitana de San Salvador y partes del norte y oriente.

La causa de estas precipitaciones es la cercanía de una vaguada y una onda tropical que se acerca al Caribe de Nicaragua. Ayer, una tormenta rompió el período seco que había prevalecido en la capital durante más de dos semanas, causando la caída de postes en la carretera Troncal del Norte.
