La PNC incautó armas en supuesta casa “destroyer” que estaba en el centro turístico de Ataco

Según la Policía Nacional Civil, una denuncia fue la que los llevó hasta una casa intervenida por presuntos pandilleros en el municipio de Ataco, donde resguardaban munición y armamento.

Las autoridades decomisaron varias armas y abundante munición la madrugada de este lunes en una cabaña usurpada por supuestos miembros de pandillas, ubicada en la finca San Luis, del municipio de Ataco, en el departamento de Ahuachapán.

El operativo fue llevado a cabo después de tener una denuncia de parte de la población, asegurando que ese lugar era utilizado por estructuras delincuenciales como refugio “para esconderse de la guerra contra las pandillas”, así lo informó la corporación policial a través de su cuenta de Twitter.

“Nuestros agentes de inteligencia están tras la pista de estos criminales que no podrán escapar de la justicia”, indicó la corporación policial.

Según el reporte de la policía, los sujetos que permanecían en la casa habían “improvisado barricadas y posiciones defensivas”, por lo que presumen se alistaban para un ataque contra los cuerpos de seguridad.
