Un empresario confiesa en video que cometió un fraude multimillonario y luego se quitó la vida

“Que solo Dios me juzgue”. Estas fueron las últimas palabras que un empresario mexicano acusado de fraude expresó en un video antes de suicidarse este fin de semana en su casa en Zapopan, Jalisco, México.

Luis Oswaldo Espinoza Marín confesó en el video, difundido por distintos medios, que había defraudado a todos sus clientes, quienes le entregaron sus ahorros para invertir en el ramo inmobiliario.

“Todo lo ocasioné yo a base de engaños y falacias. A mi esposa le suplicaba que me firmara documentos en blanco que posteriormente yo manipulaba a mi antojo”, reconoció Espinoza Marín en la grabación.

“No puedo cubrir las prestaciones que he contraído. Sobre hipotequé los inmuebles que con fruto de sus inversiones adquirí… Todo el dinero que me dieron de inversiones está hipotecado… Lo he perdido todo”, expresó el empresario en el video.

Su compañía, Asesores Jurídicos Profesionales (AJP) está siendo investigada por las autoridades, luego de que los defraudados interpusieran denuncias y se manifestaron afuera de las oficinas de la empresa en Guadalajara. Enojados, vandalizaron el inmueble. “Rateros”, escribieron en la fachada.

En otra protesta que realizaron en las instalaciones de la Fiscalía de Jalisco, una de las denunciantes le dijo al medio Informador.mx que había entregado 6 millones de pesos (unos 300,000 dólares) a AJP, confiando en que obtendría ganancias. Pero no fue así.

“Pensábamos que era real, ya ahora con el tiempo nos dimos cuenta que era un fraude”, dijo al medio.

La Fiscalía del estado indicó en un comunicado que un total de 130 personas han denunciado a AJP por fraude. El sábado, como parte de sus labores de investigación, agentes de la dependencia acudieron al domicilio del empresario, ubicado en la calle Paseo de las Vírgenes, en la ciudad de Zapopan.

Los elementos “fueron recibidos con disparos de arma de fuego”, sin que ninguno de ellos resultara herido, informó la Fiscalía. “Al ingresar a la finca fue localizada una persona de sexo masculino sin vida”. Era el cadáver de Espinoza Marín, junto al cual estaban un arma, una nota póstuma y una identificación. Lo encontraron en la recámara principal. Aparentemente se dio un disparo en la cabeza.

Las autoridades ejecutaron otra orden de registro en las oficinas de AJP en la calle Luis Pérez Verdía, en la colonia Ladrón de Guevara de Guadalajara, donde decomisaron diversos documentos.

“Las indagatorias continúan por parte del personal de la Dirección General de Delitos Patrimoniales y Financieros”, indicó la Fiscalía estatal en el comunicado.


En el video que se cree grabó minutos antes del operativo, Espinoza Marín afirmó que durante 30 años cumplió son todas sus obligaciones, pero le falló a sus clientes en los últimos meses. Aseguró ser el único responsable de un fraude tipo piramidal que desfalcó a decenas de personas.

Según su versión, algunas personas que le prestaron dinero para salir a flote le advirtieron que “si no les pagaba iban a matar a mi familia. Lo cual no me permite seguir adelante”. Por eso le pidió al gobierno que investigara “en caso de que haya defunciones colaterales” después de su suicidio.

“Estoy completamente devastado… Suplico su perdón, el de mis padres, de mis hijos, de mi esposa. Y que no se responsabilice a nadie por mi muerte”, se despidió el empresario en el video.
