Incendio deja cuatro personas fallecidas en Barcelona

Mueren cuatro personas,entre ellos dos menores, en un incendio de un local ocupado en Barcelona, otro de los fallecidos es un bebe y hay cuatro heridos que han tenido que ser trasladados al hospital.

Un incendio de madrugada en un local ocupado ha acabado con la vida de una familia que vivía en su interior. Dos adultos, un bebé y un niño de 3 años, han perdido la vida. El fuego se ha declarado sobre las 5:50 h de la madrugada en una antigua sucursal bancaria que servía de vivienda para varias familias. Otras cuatro personas que se habían refugiado en un patio interior situado en el sótano han podido ser rescatadas con vida por los bomberos. 

Los fallecidos quedaron atrapados en la planta baja. Cuando llegaron los bomberos el incendio estaba muy avanzado y las llamas era muy virulentas alentadas por el material combustible que hallaba a su paso. “Mi mujer ha olido a quemado. Estaban los ocupas gritando desde el interior. Ha sido muy traumático”, ha relatado Miquel un vecino de la finca.

El Ayuntamiento estaba al corriente de la situación de la familia y servicios los atendía desde 2020 procurándoles alimento, escolarización y servicio pediátrico para los menores. De hecho, uno de los menores asistía a una escuela cercana

La familia, cuyo padre era originario de Pakistán y la madre de Rumanía, llevaba una década viviendo en Catalunya y habían vivido en varios asentamientos en Besòs Mar y Badalona. Llevaban un año viviendo en el local incendiado en el que han perdido la vida. Su modo de subsistencia era la recolección y venta de chatarra.
