Buques chinos acompañado por un destructor de misiles guiados navega hacia el Pacífico

Se precisa que esa maniobra tiene como objetivo aumentar de manera integral la capacidad de combate de la Armada china.

Un grupo de buques de la Armada del Ejército Popular de Liberación de China, encabezado por el portaviones Liaoning y acompañado por el destructor de misiles guiados tipo 055 Nanchang, navegó el sábado pasado a través del estrecho de Miyako, situado entre las islas japonesas de Miyako y Okinawa, hacia el océano Pacífico, informa Global Times.

Se precisa que ese ejercicio es de rutina y tiene como objetivo aumentar de manera integral la capacidad de combate de los buques. Se trata de la primera vez que el destructor Nanchang, que entró en el servicio naval el año pasado, participa en una maniobra de este tipo.

La Fuerza de Autodefensa Marítima de Japón detectó el paso de un total de seis buques de guerra chinos por el área. Un avión de patrulla Y-9 chino también atravesó el estrecho y regresó el domingo.

Coincidiendo con el ejercicio del grupo del portaviones chino, se informa de que el destructor USS Mustin de la Marina estadounidense navegó el sábado hacia el mar de la China Oriental y al día siguiente, el grupo de ataque del portaaviones Theodore Roosevelt entró en el mar de la China Meridional a través del estrecho de Malaca.

Wei Dongxu, experto en asuntos militares, dijo al diario chino que la maniobra del portaviones Liaoning es probablemente un ejercicio de entrenamiento programado y no está relacionada con ningún factor externo, pero que los grupos de portaviones siempre pueden establecer posiciones defensivas marítimas más amplias y salvaguardar las regiones costeras que enfrentan frecuentes provocaciones militares de buques de guerra y aviones de guerra estadounidenses.
