El Schalke 04 se disculpa por insultos racistas a estrella de 15 años del Borussia Dortmund

El equipo alemán Schalke 04 se disculpó públicamente luego de que algunos de sus aficionados presuntamente agredieran con insultos racistas al jugador de 15 años Youssoufa Moukoko, quien juega para la categoría sub 19 del Borussia Dortmund. El supuesto incidente se produjo el domingo, en un partido entre las categorías juveniles de ambos clubes.

«Solamente podemos pedir disculpas por la conducta de algunos de nuestros hinchas contra Youssoufa Moukoko, en el partido de sub 19 de hoy», tuieó el club después del derbi alemán de la región de Ruhr, utilizando el hashtag «NoToRacism», o «NoAlRacismo» en español.

Se desconoce exactamente lo que dijeron esos aficionados.

«Dejando de lado las emociones del derbi, nosotros completamente condenamos y rechazamos esos insultos», añadió el Schalke 04, afirmando que su departamento de Asuntos de la Afición «tomará las medidas necesarias».

El Comité de Control de la Asociación Alemana de Fútbol (DFB por sus siglas en inglés) indicó que investigará «los posibles insultos racistas» contra Moukoko. «La Asociación Alemana de Fútbol no tolera ninguna forma de racismo y se opone a cualquiera de sus formas», dijo Thomas Bergmann, miembro del Comité de Control del fútbol alemán.

Moukoko es considerado uno de los talentos predigiosos del fútbol europeo, y anotó el domingo los tres goles del equipo sub 19 del Borussia Dortmund, para derrotar al Schalke 04 por 3 a 2, en el llamado «Rieverderby».

Fue el tercer hat-trick de la temporada para el juvenil, quien ya lleva varios años jugando ante rivales de categorías superiores. Se espera que Moukoko tenga su oportunidad en el primer equipo del Dortmund cuando cumpla 16 años el próximo mes.

Nacido en Camerún, Moukoko ha representado a Alemania en las categorías sub 16 y sub 20, y ascendió en las juveniles del St. Pauli antes de fichar con el Borussia Dortmund en 2016.

CNN pidió un comentario al Schalke 04 y al Borussia Dortmund, pero ninguna de las dos partes estaban disponibles inmediatamente para hablar del incidente del domingo.
