Condenan a 60 años de cárcel a mujer que mató a su amiga embarazada

Tras siete días de audiencia, la FGR informó hoy que logró demostrar que Ramírez le quitó la vida a su amiga, Victoria Hernández, quien estaba embarazada de ocho meses. Por lo tanto, la autora del hecho ha sido condenada a 60 años de prisión.

Los hechos ocurrieron en la propia vivienda de Gloria Ramírez, en el municipio de San Antonio del Monte, Sonsonate. El pasado 8 de julio del año pasado, la víctima fue asesinada y su bebé fue extraído, presuntamente, por su mejor amiga. 

La Fiscalía presentó un sólido caso contra Ramírez el 16 de mayo, respaldado por 27 testigos, pruebas periciales y documentales que fortalecieron la investigación. Durante el juicio, la acusada fue procesada por los delitos de Homicidio Agravado, Simulación de Embarazo o Parto, y Homicidio Tentado, así como intento de asesinato en perjuicio de la recién nacida. La defensa argumentó la existencia de una afectación psicológica en la acusada y la posible participación de terceras personas, pero esto no fue comprobado por las autoridades. 

La vista pública finalizó el pasado 23 de mayo y hoy se dictaminó la sentencia de 60 años de prisión para Gloria Ramírez. Cabe destacar que la acusada fue detenida por el delito de resistencia al día siguiente de los hechos, mientras continuaban las investigaciones. Sin embargo, fue el 23 de julio de 2022 cuando la Policía Nacional Civil (PNC) y la FGR le atribuyeron los nuevos crímenes.

La versión de Ramírez, en la que afirmaba haber dado a luz, no fue creída por el personal médico del Hospital Nacional Jorge Mazzini, de Sonsonate, donde fue llevada simulando el parto. Las investigaciones revelaron que la víctima fue asesinada estando embarazada y que su bebé fue extraído. La fiscalía presentó 27 pruebas periciales y documentales que robustecieron la investigación en contra de la imputada. Ahora, con la sentencia dictada, se espera que se haga justicia por estos terribles crímenes.
