Cientos de maestros marcharon para pedir pensiones dignas

Este día por la mañana, cientos de maestros se reunieron en la Plaza al Divino Salvador del Mundo con el propósito de pronunciarse ante las pensiones que los educadores del sistema público están recibiendo.

La marcha fue llamada “Marcha Negra Magisterial” y en ella estuvieron presentes SIMEDUCO, Bases Magisteriales y otras organizaciones de educación y sociedad civil, quienes marcharían hasta Casa Presidencial (CAPRES), sin embargo la Unidad del Mantenimiento del Orden bloqueó el paso hasta CAPRES.

Con el propósito de tener pensiones dignas, Francisco Zelada de SIMEDUCO manifestó que han presentado “una propuesta de pensiones sostenibles, un proyecto que lleva un estudio actuarial responsable”

Según declaraciones de los organizadores, el propósito de la marcha fue exigir pensiones dignas, porque actualmente los maestros júbilados del sector público están recibiendo una pensión de $304.17, menos los descuentos de ley, lo que consideran un ingreso bajo en comparación al costo de la canasta básica actual.

Cabe mencionar que durante la marcha la Alameda Manuel Enrique Araujo permació cerrada en sentido hacia Santa Tecla. El cuerpo de la Policía de Tránsito se hizo presente para brindar apoyo y regular el tráfico que se generó en los alrededores. Los conductores que se vieron afectados por el fuerte tráfico mostraron molestia ante los cierres de las calles.
