Bad Bunny con 11 nominaciones para los premios Latin American Music Awards

Bad Bunny, con once nominaciones, parte como favorito en la octava edición de los Latin American Music Awards (AMAs), que se celebrará el 20 de abril en Las Vegas y será conducida por Julián Gil y Galilea Montijo.

Becky G y Daddy Yankee, con diez nominaciones cada uno, y Grupo Frontera, Karol G, Rauw Alejandro, Romeo Santos y Rosalía, con nueve cada uno, siguen al puertorriqueño como los artistas con más probabilidades de ser los triunfadores en las distintas categorías, informó este lunes TelevisaUnivision.

“Muy feliz, honrado y agradecido con TelevisaUnivision por haberme seleccionado para ser el conductor de la octava edición de los Latin American Musica Awards (AMAs)”, dijo Gil en un comunicado.

“Vamos a celebrar por todo lo alto lo mejor de la música latina, en un gran evento junto a (la mexicana) Galilea Montijo”, expresó el actor argentino-puertorriqueño, quien presenta el programa ¡Siéntese Quien Pueda!

Bajo el lema “Somos Un Movimiento”, este año la entrega de premios que celebra lo mejor de la música latina va a estar precedida de tres shows especiales de una hora en Unimás.

El primero se emitió el 7 de marzo, el segundo es este lunes y el tercero, titulado “Latin AMAs: Legacy”, el 4 de abril.

Este último será presentado por Clarissa Molina y celebrará al artista colombiano Carlos Vives y al mexicano Pepe Aguilar, dos de los iconos más grandes de la música latina, señala un comunicado.

El año pasado, TelevisaUnivision adquirió los derechos de Dick Clark Productions para los AMAs reforzando la posición de la compañía como “La casa de la música latina”.

Los premios, que se entregarán en una ceremonia en la MGM Grand Garden Arena de Las Vegas y serán transmitidos por Univision, Unimas y Galavisión, rendirán homenaje a los artistas latinos más influyentes e icónicos de la actualidad.

Las nominaciones a estos premios se basan en la transmisión, las ventas, la transmisión de radio, las giras e incluso los datos de interacciones en las redes sociales proporcionados por Billboard y Luminate.

Las nominaciones de este año destacan artistas que abarcan todos los géneros de la música latina dentro de 26 categorías, incluidas 9 categorías generales, 5 regionales mexicanas y 4 categorías enfocadas en Pop, Urban y Tropical.

El público puede votar por sus favoritos hasta el 26 de marzo a través de Univision.com/LatinAMAs.
