MARN actualiza balance de situación climatológica en El Salvador

El Ministerio de Medio Ambiente y Recursos Naturales (MARN) por medio del Ministro Fernando López brindó una actualización de la situación lluviosa acontecida en éste día “Estamos informando a la población salvadoreña sobre la situación actual así como el pronóstico del clima para las próximas 48 horas”, dijo.

En cuanto al pronóstico de lluvias “Solo estos 17 días de junio, tenemos un acumulado de 138 milímetros”, agregó. Por tal razón el 2022 está clasificado dentro del promedio de lluvia anual.

Según estadísticas los departamentos de San Vicente y Cabañas son los que mayor lluvia acumulada registraron durante mayo “En las próximas 48 horas tendremos lluvias de moderada a fuerte intensidad en todo el territorio nacional”, enfatizó el titular de Medio Ambiente.

“Es importante que la población se informe a través de los canales oficiales y las redes sociales del Ministerio de Medio Ambiente y Recursos Naturales (MARN) enfatizó el Ministro de Medio Ambiente Fernando López y al mismo tiempo reiteró a la población a tomar en cuenta las recomendaciones vertidas entorno a la actual época lluviosa.

“Tendremos rafagas de viento de 34 a 50 kilómetros por hora; en el mar, los vientos superarán los 50 kilómetros por hora, por ello, se mantiene suspendida la pesca artesanal”, dijo el titular de Medio Ambiente.

En cuanto al monitoreo de la red vial en el país el Ministro de Obras Públicas Romeo Rodríguez mencionó que “Registramos 72 derrumbes que ya han sido desalojados. Reportamos 3 cárcavas que ya están siendo intervenidas. Trabajamos en dragados, reconstrucción de bordas, jornadas de limpieza, entre otras actividades”.

“Hasta las 8:00 a. m. de este viernes 17 de junio, se reporta 6 personas fallecidas, 42 viviendas afectadas por lluvias, el desbordamiento de 6 ríos, y continúa la búsqueda de una persona desaparecida en Ahuachapán”, agregó el Director de Protección Civil Luis Alonso Amaya, al mismo tiempo mencionó que se tienen habilitados 32 albergues distribuidos en puntos estratégicos tomando en cuenta las zonas de alto riesgo “A la fecha, solo tenemos activo el albergue de Cangrejera en La Libertad donde están 17 personas”, puntualizó.
