Un gris debut del Chelsea en la nueva temporada Champions le suma los tres puntos

El encuentro del Chelsea frente al Zenit en Stamford Bridge a las 21:00 que daba arranque del grupo que componen también Juventus y Malmo. Y este fue el partido que por primera vez enfrentarían en competición europea a ambos clubes.

Primera parte.

Durante los primeros compases del encuentro, tanto Chelsea como Zenit buscaban tener la posesión de balón. Además de ello, los dos equipos habían saltado al terreno de juego de forma muy pareja. En el minuto 10, Kovacic tuvo la primera gran ocasión del encuentro con un buen remate de cabeza. Sin embargo, el meta visitante no tendría problemas en atajar en ese balón y calmar el ataque de los Blues.

Llegando al primer cuarto de hora del choque, el Chelsea se estaba mostrando más superior.Además de ello, destacaban jugadores como Marcos Alonso o Lukaku, quienes estaban cumpliendo con su función de manera muy correcta. Mientras tanto, el Zenit no llegaba con peligro a la portería de Mendy y su papel sobre el césped era parar los ataques de los locales.

En el minuto 26, Marcos Alonso abría la lata del encuentro tras un gran disparo de falta directa. De esta forma, el Chelsea FC tomaba ventaja en el marcador por primera vez en todo el choque. Con este tanto, los locales buscaban incrementar la renta y por su parte, el Crystal Palace quería empatar la contienda, pero esto estaba resultando muy difícil.

No hubo cambios en el medio tiempo

Segundo tiempo

La segunda parte comenzó algo parecida a la primera, con un Chelsea muy dominador y con claridad de cara a acabar las jugadas pero con un Zenit muy solido en la faceta defensiva.

Malcom lanza un zapatazo desde tres cuartos de campo que casi entró por la misma escuadra e intenta adelantar al equipo ruso en la lucha.

Gol de Lukaku que poco a poco ha conseguido entrar en partido y poder adelantar a los de Tuchel.

Lukaku la tuvo para adelantar al Chelsea pero Kristsyuk lanza una palomita y consigue para el cabezazo del carrilero de los blues.

El encuentro murió con el balón en los pies del Chelsea intentando seguir atacando y con una formación totalmente ofensiva sin miedo al contragolpe por el momento del partido en el que estaba transcurriendo los hechos.
