Real Madrid confirma que Carlos Casemiro es nuevo jugador del Manchester United

Ya es oficial. Carlos Henrique Casemiro, uno de los mejores centrocampistas de la historia del Real Madrid, deja el club blanco tras ocho temporadas el primer equipo para irse al Manchester United, que abonará unos 70 millones de euros más 10 en variables por su traspaso. 

El pivote brasileño firma hasta 2026 con opción a una temporada más con el club de Old Trafford después de ser pieza esencial del vigente campeón de Champions y Liga. Titular indiscutible en el Madrid desde que regresó de su cesión en el Porto en 2015, ha formado junto a Kroos y Modric uno de los tríos de centrocampistas más icónicos del fútbol moderno.

El Madrid brindará un acto de homenaje y despedida a Casemiro presidido por Florentino Pérez el próximo lunes en la Ciudad Deportiva de Valdebebas. Después el brasileño ofrecerá una rueda de prensa.

El Real Madrid y el Manchester United han oficializado una operación relámpago que empezó gestarse a principios de semana, cuando los Red Devils enviaron a su director de fútbol a la capital de España para acercar posturas con Casemiro. El acuerdo está sujeto a la revisión médica, a la finalización de los términos con el jugador y a los requisitos del visado de Reino Unido, según ha informado el United.

El jugador se ha despedido hoy de sus compañeros mientras el Madrid y el United cerraban definitivamente los términos del acuerdo. En cuanto estampe su firma con los Red Devils, pasará a ser uno de los jugadores mejor pagados de la Premier League con un sueldo anual de unos 13 millones de euros por temporada.

El brasileño abandona el club blanco en lo más alto y siendo uno de los capataces del vestuario para asumir el reto de liderar el resurgimiento de un Manchester United azotado por una galopante crisis deportiva. Los de Erik Ten Hag marchan últimos en la Premier tras encadenar dos derrotas consecutivas.

Ganador de 18 títulos, Casemiro deja el Madrid tras 336 partidos, 31 goles y 21 asistencias. En el recuerdo de los madridistas quedará para siempre la sociedad que formó junto a Toni Kroos y Luka Modric, una de las más prolíficas, ganadoras y complementarias que se han visto en los últimos tiempos. El triángulo de las Bermudas, como lo bautizó Carlo Ancelotti, ya es historia en el Real Madrid.
