Luis Suárez jugará en el Nacional de Uruguay

La espera ha terminado y Luis Suárez ya ha anunciado cuál será su nuevo destino. A través de un vídeo colgado en su cuenta de Twitter, el delantero comunicó su vuelta a Nacional de Uruguay, club donde se formó y dio el salto previo a recalar a la élite europea. Suárez contaba con varias ofertas desde Europa, pero el revuelo que se armó en la red social americana hace unas semanas parecen haber hecho cambiar su hoja de ruta.

A falta de algunos flecos en las negociaciones, Suárez comentó en su video que su fichaje por el Bolso es un hecho. El killer charrú expresó que el cariño recibido por parte de la hinchada de Nacional en las últimas semanas a través de los mensajes de Twitter fueron clave para tomar su decisión. “Nos tocó el corazón en esta situación que teníamos que decidir. Era inevitable rechazar esta oportunidad de volver a jugar en Nacional”, expresó el futbolista.

La vuelta de Suárez al club de sus orígenes ha sido de todo menos esperada. Con ofertas de Argentina (con Boca y River a la cabeza), Brasil (Flamengo o Palmeiras) o la MLS, con el Inter Miami como principal postor; parece que la vuelta a casa ha pasado de ser un sueño a una realidad. Según el mismo Suárez explicaba hace algunas unas semanas, la idea original era seguir con su carrera en Europa de cara a tener una mejor preparación para el Mundial de Qatar 2022, su ‘último baile’ con Uruguay.

Opción de Nacional, de sueño a realidad

Tras anunciar para ESPN que la opción de River dejaba de ser una posibilidad tras su eliminación de la Copa Libertadores a manos de Vélez, el delantero no dejó pasar la oportunidad de dejar un recado a la dirección deportiva de Nacional. “Estoy sorprendido de que los dirigentes de Nacional ni siquiera me llamaron para saber mi situación”, apuntaba el exjugador del Atlético de Madrid. Ahora, casi 15 años después de empacar las maletas rumbo al viejo continente, Uruguay podrá volver a disfrutar de la pólvora del ‘pistolero’.
