La UEFA y la FIFA no podrían sancionar a los clubes de la Superliga

Continúan las consecuencias del intento de Superliga hace mes y medio por parte de los grandes clubes europeos. Hoy la justicia suiza ha bloqueado cualquier sanción de UEFA y FIFA a dichos clubes fundadores. 

El ministerio de Justicia de Suiza ha advertido esta misma mañana a la UEFA y la FIFA acerca de sus intenciones por sancionar e incluso expulsar de sus competiciones a los clubes que todavía se mantienen en el proyecto de la Superliga Europea que nació hace poco más de un mes. Informa la Cadena Ser, que los ambos organismos internacionales no tienen capacidad para hacerlo amparándose en el Derecho Mercantil español, más concretamente en el auto firmado por Manuel Ruiz de Lara del Juzgado de lo Mercantil 17 de Madrid, que impide que se pueda sancionar a los clubes fundadores de la Superliga. Dicho juzgado elevó el requerimiento al Tribunal Europeo de Luxemburgo con el objetivo de que sea extensible a todas las justicias europeas.

El auto mencionado en el que se refugian Real Madrid, Barça y Juventus expone la necesidad de que otros organismos al margen de UEFA y FIFA tengan la capacidad para crear cualquier alternativa a los torneos ya existentes primando la innovación y aumentando el abanico de posibles elecciones de cara al consumidor.

La UEFA, a través de un portavoz, no ha querido dejar declaraciones al respecto a la espera de una respuesta por parte de la FIFA. El culebrón de la Superliga está lejos de acabar y la peor consecuencia para los clubes de la Superliga sería verse privados de jugar la Champions League durante dos años consecutivos.
