F1: FIA confirma cambios para este fin de semana en el GP de Australia

La Federación Internacional ha anunciado cambios relevantes para el Gran Prix llevado a cabo este fin de semana en Australia. Durante mucho tiempo el circuito de Albert Park, ─sede del Gran Premio de Fórmula 1─, tenía pocos giros de trama.

La F1 ha acarreado ciertas dificultades en esta pista desde el año 2019, mucho debido a lo que significó la pandemia. Pero es en este lapso de tiempo que la FIA tuvo tiempo de analizar las situaciones que les aquejaban en el evento celebrado esta semana en el país. Ahora las modificaciones no se quedan en palabras y se convierten en algo palpable.

Para cualquier fanático de este deporte no es un secreto que las trazadas de curva en esta sede son extrorbitantes y exigentes con el rendimiento del chasís. En el pasado contaban con rectas demasiado estrechas y el hecho de que los monoplazas generasen cada vez más turbulencias, hacía que para los competidores traspasar a su rival, fuera algo muy complejo.

Tal parece que también las recientes sanciones a cargo del español Fernando Alonso y el piloto francés Esteban Ocon en esta temporada, hicieron reaccionar a la Federacíón. Porque han decidido ampliar hasta veinte centimetros más los cajones de parrilla de salida. 

Asimismo, vemos las transformaciones de las vértices en las curvas 1, 3 y 6 en el primer sector. Siendo ahora menos estrechas; sobretodo en la 1 y 6. Esta última ha sido ampliada a cerca de siete metros. Lo que traerá por consecuencia, giros de velocidad de medianas a rápidas. Lo que crea el efecto acción y reacción. La adrenalina es un panorama muy prometedor para este fin de semana de carreras.

Otro punto muy positivo es que se abren nuevas estrategias para los equipos, porque estos cambios significarían que los pilotos tendrán menos tiempo haciendo cambios de gomas.

¿Será una mejoría en el GP de Australia?, habrá que averiguarlo desde este viernes.

La contienda será reñida entre Max Verstappen y Checo Pérez, ambos pilotos de Red Bull lo que será algo decisivo para las estrategías del equipo en las próximas carreras. Pero tampoco se queda atrás Alonso de Aston Martin, quien ha conseguido renacer como el ave fénix y logró un lugar en el podio de Saudi Arabia
