El millonario contrato que Juventus le ofrecerá a Juan Guillermo Cuadrado para que renueve con el equipo

Desde hace varios meses la prensa italianos han manifestado que la intención de Juventus con Juan Guillermo Cuadrado es clara: renovarle su contrato, el cual vencerá el próximo 30 de junio del 2022. El futbolista colombiano, más allá de los años, continúa siendo una pieza clave en la plantilla y, para muchos, el mejor lateral del fútbol italiano en la última temporada.

El nuevo técnico de la ‘Vecchia Signora’, Massimiliano Alegri, quiere contar con los servicios del colombiano, y por ello, las negociaciones entre ambas partes ya se encuentran avanzadas. Así lo ha confirmado el medio especializado, Calciomercatoen un articulo publicado enLa Gazzetta dello Sport, donde asegura que, luego de concretarse la renovación del central Georgio Chiellini, el turno será para el antioqueño: Juventus le ofrecerá un contrato por un año más, es decir, hasta junio del 2023, y con un sueldo de cinco millones de euros, cifra que se asimila a la que devenga actualmente.

Lateral derecho, centrocampista o extremo… pero nunca cuestionado. De hecho, su intocabilidad será una de las certezas de la nueva Juventus de Massimiliano Allegri. No hay dudas sobre la renovación: expirando en 2022, primero el equipo se centrará en Giorgio Chiellini, luego será el turno del colombiano, con un acuerdo en principio ya alcanzado entre las partes, con una renovación anual, hasta 2023, en las mismas cifras. A partir de ahora, unos 5 millones de euros. Porque Cuadrado no se toca”, indicó el citado medio.

En la mayoría de los casos, cuando un futbolista va envejeciendo, su valor de mercado disminuye, y ello va acompañado de reducciones salariales. Sin embargo, este no es el caso de Cuadrado, quien, de firmar dicho contrato, seguirá siendo, por lejos, el colombiano mejor pago de la liga italiana.

La temporada pasada, la Gazzetta había revelado la encuesta con los sueldos que ganan los jugadores de los 20 clubes de la primera división en Italia. Juan Guillermo lideraba dicho escalafón con cinco millones de euros anuales, seguido de este aparecían las dos figuras del Atalanta: Duván Zapata y Luis Fernando Muriel, los cuales reciben 1,8 millones cada uno. En la cuarta casilla está David Ospina, quien devenga 1,4 millones; y cerrando las primeras cinco posiciones decía ‘presente’ Cristian Zapata (1,2 millones).
