El Manchester City cierra el fichaje de Jack Grealish

Según informa el “Daily Mail”, el acuerdo entre clubes es total. El fichaje de la sensación británica, según apuntan diversos medios de comunicación ingleses, podría ser oficial hoy.

El Manchester City va a cerrar el fichaje de Jack Grealish y pagará más de 100 millones al Aston Villa por el mediapunta inglés. Según ha informado el Daily Mail, el anuncio de su contratación tendrá lugar hoy mismo. Después de varias semanas de negociaciones, el conjunto de Pep Guardiola se hará con uno de sus dos objetivos de este mercado de verano y al mismo tiempo convertirán a Grealish en el traspaso más caro del fútbol británico.

Aunque puede que no por mucho tiempo, ya que los ‘citizens’ siguen negociando la llegada de Harry Kane, que superaría en cantidad a la del capitán del Aston Villa. Como se ha venido publicando durante todo el verano, la intención no es elegir entre Grealish o Kane, sino fichar a ambos.

A sus 25 años, Grealish llegará para reforzar el centro del campo del Manchester City y para dar el gran salto definitivo en su carrera deportiva. Además, estará disponible para disputar la final de la Community Shield de este mismo sábado, cuando su nuevo equipo se enfrentará al Leicester City, el último campeón de la FA Cup.

Con De Bruyne todavía renqueante de su lesión de tobillo y con muchos futbolistas recién llegados de sus vacaciones veraniegas, Guardiola tendrá que mezclar entre titulares y canteranos para el primer partido en Wembley.

El fichaje de Grealish puede romper la banca en el fútbol inglés

El Aston Villa ha hecho dos ofertas por James Ward-Prowse, del Southampton, de casi 30 millones. De momento, ambas rechazadas. Pero volverán a por uno de los mejores especialistas a balón parado de la Premier League, mientras que Todd Cantwell, del Norwich, es otro de los objetivos. Además, también intentarán convencer a Axel Tuanzebe para que, a préstamo, el defensa del Manchester United refuerce la zaga defensiva.

Todo ello para unirse a los Watkins, Emi Martínez, Mings, McGinn y compañía. Un proyecto que, eso sí, muy probablemente pierda a su mejor pieza: Jack Grealish, pero que ingresará otros 100 millones de euros con tal de afrontar grandes operaciones.

En el Aston Villa lo tienen claro. Van a intentar gastar los 100 millones de euros de Jack Grealish en su totalidad durante este mercado de fichajes.
