El béisbol se expande en La Unión

Técnicos de la Federación Salvadoreña de Béisbol realizan una capacitación a entrenadores de diversos puntos del departamento oriental, continuando con los programas de masificación de la disciplina.

Carlos Hernández, prensa FEDEBEIS.- Técnicos de la Federación Salvadoreña de Béisbol dictan durante dos días una completa capacitación a entrenadores de los diversos Centros de Desarrollo Integral del departamento oriental de La Unión, para que estos profesores multipliquen estos conocimientos en sus alumnos, fortaleciendo los programas de masificación que el ente deportivo adelanta en el país.

Los entrenadores o monitores deportivos capacitados en el parque Cyril Errington Díaz, en el sector Las Crucitas, pertenecen a los sectores de las zonas Norte y Centro del departamento, específicamente de las localidades de La Isla Meanguera del Golfo, Santa Rosa de Lima, Pasaquina, Bolívar, Santa Clara, Frontera el Amatillo, Santa Clarita, La Chorrera, Cerco de Piedra, Bobadilla, El Carmen, Huisquil (La Conchagua), Amapalita y La Unión.

Los técnicos profesionales de FEDEBEIS capacitan al grupo de monitores deportivos en todas las áreas ligadas a la práctica del béisbol, desde la forma correcta de realizar el estiramiento y calentamiento previo y posterior a la finalización de cada sesión, así como los fundamentos básicos para la enseñanza a los pequeños en las áreas de tiro y recepción de la pelota, el corrido de las bases, la captura de la pelota en elevados, el bateo con batting teen y la forma correcta de tomar los roletazos.

Esta capacitación que se dicta en dos tandas (lunes y martes) se realiza cumpliendo con los protocolos de bioseguridad pertinentes.

El departamento de La Unión posee una rica historia y tradición en el béisbol, al punto que de allí se formaron tres de los primeros jugadores salvadoreños en ser firmado por organizaciones de Grandes Ligas, así como de dicha zona oriental del país han surgido muchos peloteros que han nutrido a diversas selecciones nacionales.
