El Barça confirma el fichaje de Koundé 

Jules Koundé ya es oficialmente futbolista del FC Barcelona tras el acuerdo total con el Sevilla anunciado por el club azulgrana, que no ha informado del monto del traspaso. Tampoco lo hizo la entidad hispalense. El central francés (23 años) firmará por cinco temporadas, hasta 2027, y tendrá una cláusula de rescisión de 1.000 millones de euros. El coste del fichaje está en unos 50 ‘kilos’ fijos y entre 5 y 10 variables. Es la mayor venta de la historia del club del Sánchez Pizjuán superando los 40 ‘kilos’ ingresados por Wissam Ben Yedder, que costó 40 millones al Mónaco en 2019.

El lunes será presentado a las 11.30 h. en la Ciutat Esportiva en un acto cerrado al público. Media hora antes firmará el contrato en las oficinas de Sant Joan Despí y a las 12.15 h. tendrá lugar la rueda de prensa oficial junto al presidente Joan Laporta y Mateu Alemany, director de fútbol.

Koundé ya se ha ejercitado este viernes por la tarde en la Ciutat Esportiva tras superar  la revisión médica matinal y hacer además trabajo de gimnasio.

El francés aterrizó el jueves por la tarde en Barcelona tras dejar la concentración del Sevilla en el Algarve portugués. El viernes pasado se cayó el acuerdo entre el club andaluz y el Chelsea ya que la voluntad del jugador era vestirse de azulgrana y hacerlo a las órdenes de Xavi Hernández, gran valedor de su fichaje. El egarense convenció a Koundé del ambicioso proyecto que está construyendo el Barça en el que el francés sería un pilar muy importante para aspirar a todo.

El 11 veces internacional ‘bleu’, favorito para estar en la lista de Didier Deschamps para el próximo Mundial, no escondió sus conversaciones con Xavi el jueves en Barça TV: “El míster Xavi es gran parte de que haya llegado aquí. He hablado varias veces con él y me ha ilusionado mucho su discurso. Las conversaciones fueron muy fluidas y creo que vemos el fútbol de la misma manera”.
