El Astro del Futbol Maradona es hospitalizado en Argentina

Los especialistas han descartado que el estado de salud del actual director técnico del club Gimnasia y Esgrima de La Plata tenga que ver con el coronavirus.

Diego Armando Maradona ha sido internado este lunes 2 de noviembre en una clínica de la ciudad de La Plata (provincia de Buenos Aires, Argentina) luego de sufrir problemas a nivel “anímico y emocional”, según informa ESPN Argentina.

De acuerdo con declaraciones a ese medio de su médico personal, Leopoldo Luque, Maradona “está mal psicológicamente”. “Diego es una persona que por momentos está excelente y por momentos no tanto”, aseguró.

Los especialistas han descartado que el estado de salud del actual director técnico del club Gimnasia y Esgrima de La Plata tenga que ver con el coronavirus. El pasado martes, Maradona tuvo que aislarse de forma preventiva en su casa de la provincia de Buenos Aires después de que uno de sus guardaespaldas presentara síntomas compatibles con el nuevo coronavirus. “Por el tema de la pandemia [Maradona] va a estar con la menor gente posible. Es una persona de edad con muchas presiones y hay que ayudarlo”, subrayó Luque.

El astro argentino fue internado luego de una reunión entre él y su entorno con Luque. “Primero [Maradona] me dijo que no y después aceptó”, señala el médico.

“Esta primera parte del proceso va a durar al menos una semana y luego se pasará a un centro especializado”, informó al respecto el periodista Daniel Arcucci, señalando que “no es una emergencia, pero no se podía esperar más”.

El pasado 30 de octubre Maradona cumplió 60 años. Ese día, el campeón del mundo de México 1986 asistió a la previa del partido entre el Gimnasia y Patronato en el estadio Juan Carmelo Zerillo, donde fue homenajeado. Entró en el terreno de juego entre cánticos, grabados y fuegos artificiales, y una vez comenzado el juego se retiró. “Yo el viernes no lo fui a ver. Es difícil ser Maradona. El día anterior estaba muy bien, pero no lo vi ese día”, comenta Luque, añadiendo que el Pelusa había perdido peso recientemente porque “venía entrenando y se venía alimentando bien”.
